Lv Bicheng Ci Features Study

Lv Bicheng is a famous women writer of Ci in modern China. She comes from a scholarly family. She was unfortunate in her childhood times. In her youth times she started to go into society. She served as the editor of the DaGong newspaper when she was twenty years old. She advocated Women’s rights and female education. She was also interested in political and business. She wildly accepted the new ideas and integrated them into her Ci, so she made remarkable achievements. She unaccompanied roamed European and American countries in her middle-aged times. She described Europe and the United States exotic scenery and customs with archaic Ci. In her later years, she convertd to Buddhism and went a wide range of cultural exchange between China and the other countries. She vigorously promoted the life protection and created a large number of Buddhist Ci and life protection Ci, commend the people at that time.Because Lv Bicheng comes from a scholarly family, she has good classical literary skills. In her adulthood, she traveled a lot of countries, so she has quite wide knowledge. Her Ci is rooted in the rich fertile soil of classical Chinese literature, integration into Europe and the United States new things to the old form, especially the creation of a large number of overseas Ci, a unique style, formed her own unique art style.
