In this paper, the literature review method, text reading method, comparative research method, combined with historical data and the results of previous studies combing He Qifang’s research and practice-related activities of the "Dream of Red Mansions", and then through the analysis of important political events, debates and the same period, researchers view comparison method analysis of He’s research and contribution. The research shows that He Qifang is a historical role of Marxist scholars and critics. In1955, he formed the first study group of "Dream of Red Mansions". In1956, he published a masterpiece "Dream of Red Mansions" Research "On the Dream of the Red Chamber" and have far-reaching impact on many ingenious Redology perspective, such as the theory typical "Gong ming","mainline of love","double tragedy""traditional" and "rebellious". Especially the typical "Gong ming", it has important significance to the development of literary theory, literary criticism and literary creation which made him a Representative of the field of studies on "Dream of Red Mansions" in the1950s. Detailed analysis of the characters and the attention to the artistic achievement made him stand out at that time. I think He Qifang and "On the Dream of the Red Chamber" is a shining example of his aesthetic, historical method organically blends. I believe that the history of "Dream of Red Mansions" in He’s also highlights the status is reflected in the following two aspects. One is literature-based research. He Qifang used sensitive poet perspective and Marxist aesthetic stand to correct erroneous tendency to read "Dream of Red Mansions". He made conversion perspective from history-based research to literature-based research. To some extent, he created a new era of "Dream of Red Mansions". The other is discussion of the humanitarian-this is an attempt of the Marxism of the Redology. He Qifang in that particular era, emphasis on human values, against inequality, not only embodies the academic courage, but also illustrates a Marxist vision and knowledge. I research He Qifang’s academic achievement and worthy of future generations to learn from his academic characters. From this point forward, I proposed three learning experiences of him. First is down-to-earth, emphasizing a lot of possession of the original material. To an article, the material can enriched the theme and help to expressive, persuasive and appealing is the key to its success. Second is the method is appropriate in the right direction. He Qifang can see one after another new and rewarding in the1950s has close relationship with use the scientific method of literary criticism. The third aspect is enthusiastic about cultivating talents. He paid attention to the fundamental problem of the research direction, research methods and system expertise. He Qifang crossed the old and new era, the deep research of him help to analysis the cultural personality of the traditional Chinese intellectuals and cultural identity changes after the founding of New China. In short, He Qifang’s personality has maintained high ratings. Despite the political impact extrusion him for decades, but has not fundamentally change the quality of his spirit intellectuals. The people have not forgotten the valuable literary heritage he left. At the same time, people are thinking and questioning his life. People are unforgettable with the ups and downs of his life, his pain and uncertainty and his trembling soul.
