"Li","Qi," and "Xin Xue" is Three branch of Daoism. The Rise of Li in general canbe traced back to Northern Song Wuzai. Southern Song Dynasty, Zhu Xi’s is a master ofLi, he established a large-scale Li Xue system. Yuan Dynasty Imperial Examination UsedZhu Xi’s "Four Books Annotations "for reference. Ming Dynasty Inherited the imperialexamination system of the Yuan Dynasty, Yongle also promulgated the "Five ClassicsDaquan " Xingli Daquan "and the" Four Books Daquan ". Thus the Cheng—Zhu’S "LiXue" established its dominance. To the Middle Ming Dynasty, The Moliu ofCheng—Zhu’S Li Xue gradually towards Emptiness. The rise of the "Wang Shouren’SXin Xue" is a corrective of its ills. However, with The rapid spread of"Xin Xue", the restof the disadvantages is more prominent and severe.The LI and QI theory of Wang Tingxiang Inherited Zhang Zai and Luo’s Qi Xue, butZhang and Luo Emphasis on Metaphysical thinking, Wang Tingxiang pay more attentionto "Li" and apply their knowledge to the social reality. for the ills of "Li Xue"and "XinXue", Wang Tingxiang has made a lot of criticism. The Developing of "Li Xue"and "XinXue" in the Middle Ming Dynasty as the background, based on the criticism andcorrection of Wang Tingxiang to "Li Xue"and "Xin Xue", This paper attempts toOrganize the LI and QI theory of Wang Tingxiang from the point of view of pragmatic.The paper is divided into three parts: The first part discusses the development andits problems of "Li Xue"and "Xin Xue" in the Middle Ming Dynasty, as well as theideological origins of the LI and QI theory of Wang Tingxiang. The second part is thecontent of the LI and QI theory of Wang Tingxiang. The third part is the historicalposition and significance of the LI and QI theory of Wang Tingxiang. Including thecriticism to "Li Xue"and "Xin Xue" and the impact on future generations of the LI andQI theory of Wang Tingxiang.
