A Study Of Design Histoircal Materials In The Notes Of Song Dynasty

The study of ancient design historical materials comes along with the development of the subject in design history. Similar to other researches in the field of ancient historical materials, the final purpose of studying ancient design historical materials serves for the researchers in the area of ancient design history. As a part of document historical materials, design historical material in the notes is a relatively concrete and individual form, and study on this area actually serves as a supplement to the research of ancient design historical materials. In this paper, methods in the research of historical materials are introduced to arrange the origin and evolvement in the notes, observe the important achievements people attained in gathering、identifying、settling and using historical material along with main contributions in methods and theories. The paper selectively narrates the evolution of design historical materials in the notes of Song writers, and then it gives some examples to analyzes the emergence,value and impact of these materials, historically reveals narrative characteristics and explores the rules of these design historical materials in the notes of Song Dynasty. By these processes, this paper provides some basic theories and methods for researchers to grasp and apply for their further study.Literati writings notes in Song Dynasty present a splendid view. Mixed in these notes,design historical materials is extremely complex.According to more than70Song writers’ notes, over2000pieces of design historical materials were scattered.This paper investigates these original materials in the fields of its discriptive features, narrative contents and its source materials in order to clear the content features,reliability, authenticity and its research value of these particular design historical materials.First. Therefore,evidences of documents,materials,pictures,theories,and other multiple ways and methods is required to achieve complementary prove.
