There are the problems of the low usage of the support devices and little learning effect for students in the past researches in the computer-based learning environment. The author devises two prompts usage and training, that is,"adapted prompts using" and "self-explaining prompts training", to improve the frequency of students of the support devices usage and learning effect. And investigate the influences of the usage and training of different prompts on support devices usage and transfer effects, we select909th grade students who have low level of probability knowledge via probability calculation question test, and send them randomly into "without prompts usage and training" group,"adapted prompts using" group and "self-explaining prompts training" group to solve the probability calculation questions, and investigate the frequency and the time of support devices usage and theirs transfer tests performance in the follow test. The experiment results suggest that:(1)in the follow test, the frequency of support devices usage of the "self-explaining prompts training" group students are most in the three groups, and the "adapted prompts using" group students are more than the "without prompts" group students; But there’s no significant difference among three groups students;(2)in the follow test, the time spent on the support devices of the "self-explaining prompts training" group students are most in the three groups, and the "adapted prompts using" group students are more than the "without prompts" group students; But there’s no significant difference of the time using the support devices among three groups students;(3) in the follow test, There is no significant differences in the near transfer tests performance among the three groups students, but significant difference in the far transfer tests performance, that is, students who are in the "self-explaining prompts training" group are best, the students who are in the "adapted prompts using" group are better than the students who are in the "without prompts usage and training" group; and the far transfer tests performance of the students in the "self-explaining prompts training" group are significant better than the students in the "without prompts usage and training" group;(4) In the frequency of support devices usage, the type of the support devices of the problem resolve are significant more than the type of the support devices of background knowledge;...
