The subject in this paper is the study for Horqin Mongolian embroiderypatterns. The word “embroidery” in Mongolian is called" Hata Ga Ma la",Horqin Mongolian embroidery is most representative in Mongolian region. Itappeared in people’s life as decorative patterns and impressed people with itsstrong visual effects. A lot of literatures are available on Horqin embroideryresearches, but it is regarded as a component of Mongolian patterns. Peopleanalyzed its categories, the rule of combination and colors, but never probedinto the combination between Mongolian culture and its formation.Horqin embroidery is created by herdsmen in the long-term productionlife, the distinctive characteristics are a long history and independent system.The creative concept of Horqin embroidery reflectsthe unifying of collective consciousness and individual consciousness, theobject gradually fixed into the collective concepts. This paper investigated inthe image formation and development of Horqin embroidery, summarized thecultural integration of Horqin embroidery and the surrounding region cultures,and illustrated that the Horqin embroidery pattern connotes the Mongolianculture factors. Horqin Mongolian embroidery arose from primitive Northernculture. Therefore, its style and contents reflects Mongolian living habits. Theearliest Mongolian pattern was found in a pottery unearthed in LowerXiajiadian Culture, the experts and scholars led by Amuer Bartle believe thatits appearance was the beginning of modeling law and decorative patterns inlater nomadic arts. As a result of specific environment of Horqin embroiderypattern, it contains immortal spirit and the longing for a better future, showstheir unique aesthetic concepts and creative spirit. The thesis is composed of five chapters. The first chapter, mainlyintroduced the topic significance, research status and research methods. Thesecond chapter introduced the formation and development of Horqinembroidery patterns. Chapter third and chapter fourth revealed the linksbetween Mongolian nationality culture and Horqin embroidery pattern in theimage analysis based on the embroidery pattern shapes, colors, symbol andthe function and characteristics. The fifth chapter is the conclusion,summarized the influence of Horqin embroidery pattern in Mongolian ethnicculture.In the study of Horqin embroidery pattern, academic circles onlyconcerned about the influence from the Central Plains and the surroundingcultures, there are few studies on their own prairie culture influence. Thispaper reflects the Mongolian culture characteristics in Horqin embroideryfrom studying the each class accomplishment and aesthetics.
