Brief Discussion On Singing Skill Of "Che Gelida Manina" Based On Characterization Of Rudolf

Giacomo Puccini, born in Italy, is one of the most outstanding and influential composers in European opera field, from the second half of19th century to the first half of20th century. Till now, the famous opera works composed by Puccini are still the repertories in all grant theatres in the world."Bohemian" has been considered as the representative work of Puccini. However,"che gelida manina" played over Rudolf, the lead actor, is the classic aria in this opera. The thesis illustrated the methodology and techniques of performance on the aria—"che gelida manina", from the view of dramatization and music skills, based on the character analysis of Rudolf and daily accumulation of learning and practice.
