It is not enough tolearn the knowledge of local arts as a theoretical research, especially for the study ofthe aesthetics of pair show. Then, the theoretical basis of the aesthetics is particularlyimportant. Otherwise, it could not be probed in the view of the aesthetic as aphenomenon of arts. The art of pair show is facing many challenges and problemsunder the system of market economy. Spreading and changing of the traditional formis the priority among priorities of the analysis of the contemporary aesthetics of the artof pair show. The thesis combined with the cognitive principle of aesthetics, theaccess method, literature method, trying to explain the various phenomena of the artof pair show, and analyzing the meaning of the aesthetic through the phenomenon inorder to distinct the organization and system of the aesthetic intension and value ofthe unique folk culture.The essay divides into four aspects.The first chapter which is the art characteristics, development, changes, and thestatus quo of the pair show, could be divided into two parts. The first part gives amacro account of the concept and present situation of the pair show, which describesmany branches and local flavor art characteristics of it. The second part focuses on the development and present situation of the pair show, which experienced the localculture as the background of the traditional pair show, planned economy in thebackground of professional pair show and under the system of market economy as thebackground of theater pair show. And now the controversial art underwent therevolution of cultural system, form and conception.The second chapter is the aesthetic consideration of the art of pair show. In thischapter, the author elaborates the distinction of the comic form in western aesthetictheory according to a slew of literature, and draws a conclusion that there is no junioror senior in humorous and the art of pair show is a simply advocating entertainmentrather than a tool of education, and folk comic needs to be reflected under theguidance of regulation. The form of “clown†is one of the most typical forms thatinfluenced the spread and aesthetic activities of the contemporary pair show. The principles of cognitive aesthetics emphasize theimportance of perception in the aesthetic activities. The rock band of “second-hand rose†is atypical representative of the avant-garde art, their creation absorb the cream of the artof pair show, combining the western rock music with the local arts, which surpassedthe traditional pattern of the past.The third chapter is the cultural explanation of the art of pair show. The aesthetic characteristics unfold the artistic senilityas male conquered by female in the humanism ideal of the pair show. The pair showis a narrative and endorsement of the tales in verse drama. Its drama poem featuresexhibited in the poetic mood, poetic structure, poetic method, poetic language anddialect.The fourth chapter is the accepting studies on the art of pair show.
