Researches On Koguryo Tombs In The Yutaoli

This paper mainly studies the newly discovered26Koguryoearth-covered stone-chamber tombs. In the first place, the paperconcludes the research status of Koguryo earth-coveredstone-chamber tombs, makes a brief description of the newly foundtombs’ material and presents the research idea and study purpose.In the second place, typology research of Yutaoli Koguryo is takenby dividing Yutaoli tombs into four fundamental types. On that basis,the paper deduces the periods of all kinds of Yutaoli tombs bycombining the existing tombs and potteries historical division andchronology. Therefore the paper divides Yutaoli Koguryo tombs intothree periods and indicates the Yutaoli tombs position in the wholeKoguryo tombs development framework. Finally, a short discussionabout related issues of Yutaoli tombs is presented in the end of thispaper.The full paper can be divided into five parts:Chapter1: IntroductionThis part will introduce the Koguryo tombs’ general situationand materials, proposing the research idea and study purpose.
