There are259pieces of bamboo in the Museum of Historical Relics in ChineseUniversity of Hong Kong, which including10pieces of Warring States bamboo,109pieces of day book bamboo for the Western Han Dynasty,11pieces of the removalpolicy bamboo,69pieces of the book for slaves granary food millet out and inbamboo,26pieces of embankment bamboo,14pieces of Xu Ning bamboo for theEastern Han Dynasty,1piece of <pine man> wood slip for the Eastern Jin Dynasty,8pieces of fragments,11pieces of blank bamboo. Unearthed time and excavatedsites has been difficult to trace. In the interpretation of <Document in Museum ofHistorical Relics in Chinese University of Hong Kong> published in2001, Mr. ChenSongchang preliminarily sort out the <Document in Museum of Historical Relics inChinese University of Hong Kong> for the first time. After the publication of thisbook, many researchers have published articles on the different types of bambooslips in the text of <Document in Museum of Historical Relics in Chinese Universityof Hong Kong> to elucidate their own views and opinions. Based on these studies,this thesis mainly focuses on the context of the bamboo. Relying on the unearthedliteratures and literatures handed down, we will evaluate and supplement other’sviews or put forward our own views by using history, paleography, the ancientChinese, calligraphy theory and other related knowledge.This part is the introduction to several classes of the overall outline descriptionslips.The text of this paper is divided into two parts:Part1includes overview and explanation of the <Document in Museum ofHistorical Relics in Chinese University of Hong Kong>. On the one hand, we willintroduce the various different views of bamboo slips, while adding some of our ownideas on the context of the bamboo. On the other hand, we will organize the variorums for bamboo slips and talk about our own views about some of the content.Part2includes the variorum for bamboo slips, which is the key point of thisthesis. The interpretation of the text is written according to the sequence of thebamboo number in this section, but we use other researchers’ views partly. We makethe interpretation according to the credible interpretation of the text and make adetailed variorum according to the published time basically. We try to give our ownnotes in order to clarify the context of the bamboo.Appendix of this paper is divided into two parts:Part1includes making a glyph for this Bamboo.Part2including referring to <Day Book Plate of Han Bamboo in Museum ofChinese University of Hong Kong> written by Mr. Lu Ping.
