| This dissertation researches on Shangshu Dazhuan, which was composed by Fu Sheng in the Han Dynasty and has been considered as the first illustrative work in the history of the studies of Confucian classics. Basing on the textual verifications, this dissertation seeks for the origin and development of the explanative style of Shangshu Dazhuan. After that, the author makes a further discussion of the thought of Shangshu Dazhuan by comparing and analyzing the different literatures, and finally manifests its meanings in the history of the studies of Confucian classics. This dissertation consists of three chapters, each chapter includes four sections. Besides, there are three appendices.In chapter one, the author verifies the writing age, the original author and the title of Shangshu Dazhuan, and then does researches on the annotations of later scholars and indicates the relationship between Hongfan Wuxing Zhuan, Taishi Zhuan and Shangshu Dazhuan. In chapter two, the author analyses the explanative style of Shangshu Dazhuan and investigates its origin and development by placing it in the history of interpretation. Meanwhile, the influence of this explanative style for later ages is discussed. In chapter three, the author comes to discuss the origin of the ideology system of Shangshu Dazhuan and analyze the relation between the ideology of Fu Sheng and the philosophy of the pre-Qin period. This chapter also focuses on how this ideology system has functioned in the controversy between the Contemporary Classic Studies and the Traditional Classic Studies as well as in the later controversy between Zheng Xuan and Wang Su. In addition, the author analyses the relationship between Shangshu Dazhuan and the "false" Shangshu Kong Anguo Zhuan. In the appendix, there are textual verifications, collections and supplementations of Shangshu Dazhuan, and some pictures are included. |
