An Analysis On The Aesthetical Thought Of Zhouyi Dazhuan

Zhouyi Dazhuan as part of the classical writings in the history of Pre-Qin, its aesthetic implication is complex and abstruse for the mutability of the image-number, and its aesthetic inspiration contains lasting aftertaste for the extremes meet between Yin and Yang. It made imponderable influence for Chinese classical literature and art. The aesthetic thoughts and culture connotations of the works holds the balance in the Chinese aesthetic history. The aesthetic implications that arising from Zhouyi Dazhuan nurtured many fields in the Chinese aesthetic history ,such as calligraphy,painting,music,literature ,etc. The different academic ideas of Pre-Qin Philosophers are organically melted into the works, thus it puts the meaning in a nutshell and comes into being an all-embracing subject. It was formed in the world and told people their fortune at the crucial moment. The reasonable and harmonious Yi-Dao values has gradually infiltrated into the aesthetic experience of Chinese nation.This paper takes Tuan zhuan,Xiang zhuan,Wenyan zhuan as point of penetration and gives dual attention to other pieces. We are trying to appreciate the aesthetic thoughts from the viewpoint of beauty of neutralization,beauty of successful development and beauty of rite and music. The article has devoted to the aesthetic experience of symmetry that concerned with dynamic change of succeeding each other between Yin and Yang. It also illustrates the relationship among the aesthetical standard of neutralization and the beauty of harmony advocated by Confucians. Meanwhile, we make a further analysis on the best life ideal toward which Zhouyi Dazhuan had been striving at the pragmatic level. Considering the facts of history and people's spiritual outlook, we discuss the cause of following the principles of people-centeredness. The thesis explores the rite and music thoughts of Chinese traditional culture while expounds the reason that Zhouyi Dazhuan focused on interest but despised music .In a word, this paper is just starting from a little corner of Zhouyi Dazhuan's aesthetics and trying to capture a drop in the bucket of its aesthetic thoughts.
