In the early1990s, a group of the new generation of science fictionwriters boarded the literary world, opened a new situation of China’sscience fictions. As the leader among them, Liu Cixin has a typicalrepresentativeness and research value. And I believe that, Liu Cixin’sfictions opened a new era, which is about the Philosophical Reflectionson pursing and torturing the ultimate significance of human life, full ofquestioning about technology and humanity which is absent fromdomestic science fiction writers. And in Liu Cixin’s sci-fi world, thosequestioning fraught with uncertainty and contradiction. This paperthrough analysing the callous technology world showed in Liu Cixin’snovels, and the contradiction between that and behind its’ humanistic care,combined with close reading, to analyze how does the contradiction ofcold and hot entangled among in Liu Cixin’s novels.The article is divided into three parts: introduction, main body, andconclusion. Introduction is mainly about the summary of Liu Cixin’sresearch status, and explains the significance and ideas of this research. Main body consists three chapters. First chapter discusses the callousnessof scientism embodied in Liu Cixin’s novels. Secend chapter mainlyanalyzes the concrete manifestation of humanism care in his fictions. Thethird chapter is on the basis of secend chapter, combined with theconclusion of the first chapter, put forword the concrete manifestation ofthe cold and hot contradiction entanglement in Liu Cixin’ world, which iscalled Pancosmism humanistic care. The last part is conclusion, gives asummary of the full paper.
