Since the China and South Korea established diplomatic ties in August1992,there are more and more Korean students studying in China. Coming and studyingin China means they not only need to learn Chinese well, but also need to gothrough adaptation process to China’s culture. However, it’s really very difficult toadjust to the unfamiliar environment. Someone can quickly immerse themselves toChina like a duck to water, but someone could not adapt to Chinese culture evenafter several years life in China. Undeniably the latter will encounter a lot ofproblems on their study, emotion and normal life. Some students even rebel againstChinese culture, which will damage China’s reputation in the world. To avoid thissituation and to attract more students to study in China, China should gather hugeamounts of intercultural adjustment materials. However now information availableare most about western counties. These available research results do not suit toChina-Korea intercultural adjustment problems for that there are big differencesbetween Chinese culture and Western culture.
