Study On Body In The Context Of Consumption

From the first day of the birth of human, there is a body, the human exploration of the body has experienced a long process. Descartes puts consciousness and body in opposite in philosophy of consciousness, after a long period of time, the body is regarded as "the other". Nietzsche celebrates body in extreme way, which shakes philosophy of consciousness of derogatory body and its tradition, after that, many theorists inherited and developed the Nietzsche’s subjective body. Along with the rise of postmodernism, the subjective body is stroked again, which one is more important in the body and consciousness is always been a controversial problem in theorists, there are some scholars tried to seek the way to combine the diversity of body and consciousness in the present theoretical discourse. This paper firstly explains the meaning of the body and summarizes the development process and current research of the theory of body. Then by introducing body to consumption context, the author analysis of the relationship between consumption and body in-depth, which contributes to the conclusion that body is also disciplined by consumerism in autonomous consumption. Secondly, by combining the concept of technical body, the author analyzes the body in the cyberspace communication activity and expounds the body revels in cyber space by taking online chatting, online game as an example. Finally combining body theory and the literature text, this paper discusses the relationship between body and literary works in the context of consumption. Taking novels and films for example, the paper analyzes respectively the grotesqueness in literature works in the context of consumption.In the context of consumption, the body has also been incorporated in the plan of consumption, the body in consumption also consumed at the same time, facing the danger of being disciplined by material and technical. From the perspective of the relation of body and literary works, the hidden rules leads to constantly change of body writing, physical writing is welcomed by a mass audience. In order to adapt to the market "heavy taste", a lot of ugly body emerge in the novel and film and television drama, consumerism has sparked a activity of appreciation of the ugliness quietly. Therefore, it is particularly important to try to keep the body of the subjectivity and the autonomy with a correct understanding on the relationship between body and consciousness in the context of consumption. Guaranteeing the autonomy and freedom of body, the human can pursue better development. With such ideological basis, consciousness and body in literary creation can be in perfect harmony, the body theory and physical writing is likely to develop in the direction of the positive and healthy.
