The Comic Creative Ideas Research

In the era when the new media develops rapidly, comic, as a traditional art form, does not fade away from the new media represented by mobile Internet.Instead, with the development of the media; this ancient art form begins to play an important role in new media with a new attitude. Comic can follow the demand of era and satisfy the majority’s needs with a background of mass culture. Featured by being humorous, people needn’t spend too much time on it and can obtain spiritual relation after work. It may depict life so exquisitely that people acknowledge with a smile, and also have a profound thinking of life, and introspection on the human condition. With all the above merits, this art form will not fade away but will develop better and better. In our daily life, comic is not rare but is often ignored by us. This article mainly aims at analyzing comic creative ideas from a overall view, which can help people reacquaint comic not only get laughter from it.First of all, in this paper, there is a brief description of the origin of both Chinese cartoon and foreign cartoon and the current situation of the modern cartoon. From the analysis of the origin of cartoon, we can see that comic in fact came into being long ago, but did not develop into an independent painting type. It was not until the traditional media such as newspapers rose that comic career developed for the first time. From this point,it can be said that comic appeared accompanied by newspapers and periodicals. As comic develops, it also gradually exerts significant influence on and promotes the traditional print media. Then, the article enlarges on the creating thought of comic from three aspects of the demands of creating a comic, the methods of creating comic characters and the way of creating comic content. At last, this article analyzes systematically the important role of contradiction and life played in creating a comic. Despite those discussed above, large numbers of original comics are applied to support the theory of the article. These comics are all created with the living environment of the author----Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, as the source of subject matter. In the enlargement on the comic creating, large numbers of other authors’ comics are applied as the support of this article’s theory, which makes the article more persuasive and more readable. Currently, it does have some drawbacks in terms of the quality of the comics released on the media. Even though comic can give people some information and amusement, it will definitely affect the readers’ interest and the comfort of reading, which continues to affect the whole comic industry. However, With the increased emphasis on comics, more and more excellent comic talents will join in this industry, so will more and more good ideas. At that time, the prosperous period of comic will come.
