Don DeLillo is a famous contemporary post-modern novelist,Vientiane city of the world in his novel called post-modern society in theUnited States.DeLillo’s novel involving technology and businesscivilization the urban ecological crisis, the decline of the art, the crisis ofAmerican culture and the human spirit predicament, as well as the fear ofdeath caused by these problems, artistic wilderness, cultural invasion andspiritual dilemmas, contains sense of confusion with a sense of crisis bythe nature, the city’s decadent and human survival. This paper aims toorganic nutrients from urban ecological, cultural, ecological and spiritualecology tripartite face of DeLillo’s novel ecological interpretation, miningthe ecological ideology behind in his novel, grab their ecological thinkingcan change this ecological crisisin order for us to learn.This thesis consists of five chapters and an epilogue.
