Bei Dao, the peers of Republic, witnessed the process of the establishing of the collective ideology and hero worship, and witnessed the absurdity and the reverse of the fact that brought by the Cultural Revolution. After a long period of underground literature dormant, Bei Dao stand up from the ruins of the culture by the popular journal’Today’, established the reputation by intervening the realistic attitude.
