A Research On Wu Qi’s Parallel Prose

Wuqi(1619-1694), his literary name was Yuanci, titled as Tingweng when he was old age. His hometown was Shexi, but he always lived in Jiangdu (now is Jiangsu provence, Yangzhou city). Wuqi was born in the end of Ming Dynasty, and he was an official after the Qing Dynasty was destroyed. Although his family was poor, and his life was bitter and astringent, his reading, creative spirit was not stopped;Although his homeland was destroyed and the new dynasty had been established,the dream of be an official was not indelibled. Wuqi’s character was magnanimous,he took his garments,return and hidden in the Kang mountain after he lose the officer, and concentrated on writing and making friends. Wuqi wrote many works in his life, we could see "Ting Gao collection","Yi Xiang poets","Lin Huitangcollection"(above three works plus Sanqu synthesis called" Lin Huitang complete works")、"The scenery in the south of ridge "、"The poets of Yangzhou"、"Select poem collection","selected poets collection,"Poetry of the Tang Dynasty collection ""Poetry of the Song、Jin、 Yuan collection "、"Bleak poets " in no wday s. We couldn’t see "four sound of baorui","six sets of deaf man"、" burning pine subordinate thing"、"The ancient picture collection"、"three maps compiled Zhi set"、" The two towel box of poetry Rhyme"、"Tong history"、"Zhong min resentment legend"、"The loudly autumn wind""embroider plain "an ect,in nowdays. This article is mainly to Wuqi’s parallel prose as the research object, through its parallel prose grasping the content,discuss his parallel prose thought, artistic characteristics and his literary status in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. This paper can be divided into the following sections:The introduction part briefly introduces the origin and significance of this article, the present situation research of Wuqi, and to explain the innovation of this paper, to further clarify the research ideas and methods.Chapter one is mainly about Wu Qi’s extraction, lifetime experiences, experiences of making friends and his works. Because there was "the chronicle of Wuqi’s life"by Wang Chaohong, this chapter is relatively simple. Firstly, summarized: the Wuqi’s extraction; then summarized his life, focused on Wuqi’s different pursuit and mind in different stages, which lay the foundation for later analysis of prose. Secondly, summarizes his experiences of making friends. Finally, in the works part,I will mainly review the works, because scholars have made to review the work, this section is simple, it is purpose to blank supplement existing studies field.Chapter two is specificly analysis the the parallel prose. This chapter is the key of this article, Firsly,on the basis of Wuqi’s parallel prose content, through the interpretation of the text, analyzed the literature thought. Secondly,study the artistic characteristics of parallel prose through combining with the specific works,friends andlater generaton’s comments.Chapter three mainly discusses the effect and literary position, of Wuqi and his parallel prose in the Qing Dynasty.Wuqi is extremely active writer in the Qing Dynasty.He orgniazed many literati gatherings before, his literary talent is outstanding, noble virtues, and a large number of cultural celebrities of that time around him.This chapter will tell the important position of Wu Qi in the Qing Dynasty literary arena and influence through the research of people and works.
