With the development of science and technology, computer technology has extended all areas of the society, the business of art design is also affected deeply. Digital art is walking into the research and development process of the audio-visual media in a new way. It provides a new direction for the diversified development of social life.Nowadays, digital art works are no longer just satisfying the requirement of the function, how to endow the designed works with a special form and style which in order to create a unique brand has become one of the important work. However, art design is full of hop and uncertainty, so it is difficulty to conceive its modeling regulation by fixed rules, designers pour his intents into his new works depend on attainment and inspiration of themselves usually. This is bound to form a set of unfeasible methods of the design of digital art. Therefore, it is imperative to establish a set of DNA theory which can grasp the direction of digital art.In this thesis, the writer analysis the design of digital art and technology with a new and systematic design concept, and in the process of explaining the DNA model theory of the design of digital art, the write turn to the theory of biological DNA genetic and the technology of Maya. At the same time, the write adopt the way of semi-conservative replication to explore identification features of the digital art product, and use these theories in the area of digital art design of china elements, it can not only inherit the essence of national culture, but also enrich the forms of digital art design.
