As a special kind of film in China and as well the film of the most influence among the incomplete categories of films in China, martial art film has an irreplaceable position in the whole historical progress of Chinese film. With characteristic of Chinese national culture, it is well accepted by the audience all over the world. Since China accessed to the WTO, its film and television industry has suffered from larger pressure than before. It is mentioned that the commercial value of film is related to the survival of film. In new age, when a breakthrough and progress in innovation of the martial arts film has been made, some fatal defects also exist in martial arts film making on the way to internationalization.This dissertation can be divided into four main content parts.
