"The Scholars" is Wu Jing-zi’s cough work. This paper discusses the ethics thought of the novel and its features.Except the introduction and epilogue, this thesis contains four chapters, each chapter has two section.In the first chapter,this paper discusses the "loyalty" of "the scholars".The first parter discusses true and fake silver hermit’s loyal and unfaithful behaviors in the novel. The second parter discusses Loyal and unfaithful behaviors of the officer of the people in the novel. At last,the paper summarizes and discusses the features of the "loyalty" in the novel.In the second chapter,this paper discusses the "filial piety"of "the scholars". The first parter discusses the true filial conduct in the novel. The second parter discusses the unfilial and filial piety of behavior in the novel. At last,the paper summarizes and discusses the features of "filial piety" in the novel.In the third chapter.this paper discusses the idea of chastity of "the scholars".The first parter discusses the moral behavior of the virtuous women in the novel. The second parter discusses the unmoral behavior of the unvirtuous women in the novel. At last.the paper summarizes and discusses the features of the the idea of chastity in the novel.In the fourth chapter,this paper discusses the righteousness of "the scholars".The first parter discusses and comments the behavior of righteousness in the novel. The second parter discusses The behavior of unrighteousness in the novel. At last,the paper summarizes and discusses the features of the righteousness in the novel.
