Based on learning the3D visualization technology,especially the open source OSG3D rendering engine technology, This paper focused on the marine environmentaldata, used c++development language, combiled with the GDAL、 NetCDFdevelopment libraries,designed a service-oriented three-dimensional visualizationsphere model,developed a environmental3D visualization applications byourselves.Injected new elements into the3D visualization application for the marineenvironment information from the data organization, visual expression, sharing andinteroperability, etc.The contents of this paper include the following aspects:On the basis of learning the key technologies and development of the currentdigital oceanal three-dimensional visualization,depth study the OSGthree-dimensional visualization of the engine build and rendering mechanism,toestablish a reasonable and efficient marine environment scene and the visualmodel,Build the basis of three-dimensional sphere visualization frameworksystem based on open source OSG Visualization Engineering.Analysis the structural features of the marine environmental data products andassociated metadata,study the methods of marine data products dynamicrendering and the metadata real-time processing.explore thethree-dimensional sphere modeling and displaying for the ocean salinity andocean temperature field products.Study of massive data loads in three-dimensional sphere model, modelingprinciples, methods. discussed the dynamically loading and rendering methods ofelevation models for different typical marine environment、raster、vector data、3D model data.Based on researching the technique and methods,built a marine environment3Dvisualization system,achieve the visualization of the marine temperature field、thesalinity field、 the wind field、 the seabed topography and other marine product,provide the display、query、statistics and other functions for the raster、vector and other marine environment information.This paper studies the key technologies and methods of3D visualization,combinedwith the open source3D visualization engine OSG.Initially built up a dynamic、interactive3D visualization system of marine environment,finally provide aconvenient、directly and Strong sense of immersion visualization services for marinescientific research and engineering construction.
