The Application Of Gis In The Mining Area Land Use Overall Planning

As the new beginning of the land use planning goes, it requires a more practicalplanning for countryside. And whether the work of land use planning can be smoothwill influence the subsided land of mining, the suitability of land-use regionalizationand the remove of people in subsided area etc.The paper is based on data, maps and documents of land use planning from landresource bureau in Jiawang. My research for land use of mine area is practiced by thesoftware of ArcGIS. The software of GIS for land use planning data processing has itsunique applicability and superiority: its functions of spatial analysis capabilities, rapidspatial orientation search, complex query capabilities, powerful graphics and expression,and space simulation and decision support system etc. make GIS owns its uniquetechnology advantage. Besides, this paper also uses models of AHP and Grey MultipleObjective programming and so on to analyze the status quo of land use in Jiawang. Inaddition, the scientific method of land use regionalization and the optimum scheme ofvalley-removing have been discussed as well. What’s more, this paper highlights thefunction of spatial analysis in ArcGIS, and sets up the land use planning informationsystem.
