In this paper, it is investigated that the influence of the wire rope mass,lifting way and hysteretic characteristics on the skip’s dynamic behavior. Themain contents include the influence of lifting way and the wire rope mass on thedynamic behavior under no hysteretic damping and the influence of lifting wayand the wire rope mass on the dynamic behavior under hysteretic damping.The dynamic model and kinetic equation of wire rope are built by usingnonlinear spring model and Rayleigh method under no hysteretic damping.When the mass of wire rope is fixed and the lifting way is uniform velocitylifting or trapezoidal way, the dynamic behavior of wire rope is investigated. Byusing numerical method, the dynamic behavior of wire rope is investigated whenthe mass of wire rope is time-varying and the lifting way is uniform velocitylifting or trapezoidal way. On this basis, the influence of the wire rope mass andlifting way on dynamic behavior is analyzed.The mechanical model and kinetic equation of wire rope are built by usingnonlinear spring model and Rayleigh method as taking account of the hystereticdamping. When the mass of wire rope is fixed and the lifting way is uniformvelocity lifting or trapezoidal way, the dynamic behavior of wire rope isinvestigated. By using numerical method, the dynamic behavior of wire rope isinvestigated when the mass of wire rope is time-varying and the lifting way isuniform velocity lifting or trapezoidal way. On this basis, the influence of themass of wire rope, lifting way and hysteretic damping on dynamic behavior areanalyzed.
