Several new waterborne polyurethane adhesive emulsion were synthesized in this thesis. The research content as follows:The chain extension agents including 2,2-Dimethylol Propionic Acid(DMPA) and its different molecular weight polymers (DMPCD) have the different influence on the emulsion properties and the latex membrane mechanical properties. When DMPCD-1134 as chain extension agent, the emulsion properties and the latex membrane mechanical properties of anionic waterborne polyurethane adhesives by self-emulsification were researched. Synthesis of acrylic-polyurethane hybrid latexes by miniemulsion polymerization and their pressure-sensitive adhesive applications. These polymers were characterized by means of GPC,IR,DLS and tensile machine.(1) The anionic waterborne polyurethane adhesives were synthesized by self-emulsification taking DMPCD-1134 as chain extend agent. It was studied that the influences of the reaction kinetics, the carboxyl group content, the amines chain extension agents and soft segment on the properties of the emulsion and latex membrane.(2) The influences on the emulsion properties and the latex membrane mechanical properties were compared when DMPA, DMPCD-634 and DMPCD-1134 as chain extension agents, respectively. The results indicated:the particle size and viscosity of the emulsion extended by DMPCD-1134 were larger than that of the emulsion extended by DMPA, while the latex membrane of the former had more excellent adhesion and breaking elongation.(3) Acrylic-Polyurethane hybrid latex was synthesized by miniemulsion polymerization. It was studied that the influences of polymerization temperature, the amount of chain transfer agent, the radio of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) to bis (hydroxyethyl) ether of bisphenol A, the amount of PU and the mass radio of methyl methacrlate (MMA) and butyl acrylate (BA) on properties of miniemulsion and latex membrane.
