Along with the society pay more attention on the green, environmental, energy saving, the people put forward more and more high demand to the transparent and heat insulation performance of the glass. Common glass has high transparency, but heat-insulation performance not good, it caused very big energy loss and consumption. Silica aerogel is the lowest thermal conductivity of solid materials and has excellent visible light through, it is an excellent transparent insulation material. Silica aerogel made into nano-slurry then with waterborne acrylic resin made of transparent insulation coating, can effectively solve the problem of transparent glass insulation, with simple and low costed, has wide application value and the market prospect.First of all, the paper studies the dispersion behavior of silica aerogel in water.It was researched that pH value,dispersant type and dosage, stabilizer dosage, silica aerogel dosage disperse time, disperse means on the dispersion propertier of silica aerogel. The results indicate that when condition was pH is around8.5, silica aerogel content=10-12%(w t%),dispersant P-19=1.90%(wt%), stabilizer ACRYSOL RM825=3.81%(wt%), the optimum dispersion method was combination of both high-speed dispersin15min and ultrasonic30min and milling3h dispersion methodse,which can acquire stabled SiO2aerogel nano-slurry with a good dispersion stability.Results showed that it’s transmittance of10%,30days after the RSH value of30%,average particle size is about50nm.The suspensions was added to water-borne acrylic resin,the water-borne nano transparent heat-insulation coating was prepared in additive coordinates. It was researched that SiO2aerogel nano-slurry dosage, additives type and dosage, coating thickness,curing temperature and time of processing conditions on the transparent heat-insulation coating.The results showed that when condition was SiO2aerogel nano-slurry=25%(wt%), coating wet film thicness=22μ m, curing temperature was120℃, curing time was20min, the coating film was uniform and transparent, the cured coatings has high mechanical properties and favorable transmittance of visible light, the visible light transmittance greater than95%,the infrared blocking rate was65%.The range of temperature were more than5-10℃to common glass.The performance of the SiO2aerogel transparent heat-insulation coating was optimal. It store1month later,RSH value was42%,the reunion was not serious,in line with actual demand.
