From J.J. Arps present the famous Arps decline curve in1944, many similar production decline models were developed by various researchers. Theses production prediction models were typically different in characteristics and applicabilities. Number of them could be complicated to analyses because of the multiple interpolations or multiple regression process. As another basic reservoir engineering approach, water drive curves.experiences a long time be applied with from born to mature.Through extensive literature research, this study includes production decline, water drive curve and the Combined Solution of production decline and water drive curves.1. Analysis the production-affecting characteristic parameters of seven categories water drive curves, and precision calibration in accordance with the actual data, screened Arps decline model, T modeland Weibull model which fit the horizontal well performance in thin layer of bottom water reservoir, and programmed the prediction models.2. This study comprehensive analysis of the eight kinds of water flooding curves, consider the following situations:(1) reservoir oil viscosity is low;(2) end of the type A and type B water flooding curves’ straight line segment would upturned;(3) the generalized water drive curves’ advantages of adjustable curve of the relationship between water ratio and recovery. And screened the water drive curves from forecasting the recoverable reserves for horizontal wells in thin layer water drive reservoir:type A, type C and Zhang Jinqing generalized water drive curve.3. Cumulative production serve as the point of integration in this paper, and then discuss decline models used in conjunction with waterflooding curves, by forcasting the Luliang Lu9Hutubihe four types reservoir (thin layer with edge water, thick layer with edge water, thin layer with bottom water, thick layer with bottom water) predicting relationships of water ratio&time of the horizontal wells. By comparing the actual and predicted values to determine the joint combinations solution which sui(?)able for the area:Arps decline models and type A water dive curve combination&Arps decline model and Zhang Jinqing water drive curve combination.4. Take examples of Luliang Oil Field Lu9Hutubihe horizontal wells, and the calculations show that the the combination of the joint solution is able to predict relationships between oil production, cumulative production, water production, recovery&time.The paper provides a reference theory&method for horizontal well dynamic prediction in similar thin layer reservoir with bottom water.
