The paper research object is the mould oscillation system in some steel works. In the production, some problems of the device as the mould sink were produced because of changing width of the blanks. So the oscillate of the mould was analyzed, oscillation parameters of the oscillation to the influence of molten steel solidification was researched, then the oscillation parameters was optimized. The oscillation parameters that is fit for physical production was obtained, so that, the above problems were solved.According to the transfer law of conservation, the solidification theory model of molten steel in mould was deduced. According to the Newton’s law of friction viscosity, internal friction in mould, negative slippage time, consumption level of casting power and vibration mark depth of the billet was calculated.The statistical analysis of orthogonal experiment was devised to the oscillation parameters, casting speeds and technological parameters that influence the internal friction in mould, the above factors were simulation by using the software Fluent. So the oscillation parameters that has evident effects to the technological parameters were found. The internal friction in mould, negative slippage time, consumption level of casting power and vibration mark depth of the billet that was in every factor of orthogonal experiment was calculated, the oscillation parameters that has evident effects to the technological parameters were also found. The oscillation parameters in the orthogonal experiment were observed to the influence of athletic field and temperature field of molten steel.According to the empirical equation of the internal friction in mould in the steel works, the empirical frictional drag was obtained. The solidification and flow condition of molten steel in mould was simulated by using the software Fluent, then, according to the Newton’s law of fluid viscosity, the liquid friction resistance of molten steel in mould was calculated. The result after the simulation was compared with the empirical frictional resistance. The oscillation parameters were optimized by using orthogonal experiment, the oscillation parameters that influence to the internal friction in mould were found. In the goal of the minimum of the internal friction in mould, the relevant parameters were obtained.The relation of the internal friction in mould that was influenced by the change of the factor, the internal friction resistance that was changed with the change of casting speed, the oscillation parameters, the slab width and the technological parameters was obtained. The above parameters were optimized by using the software Matlab in the goal of the minimum of the internal friction in mould. The parameters were obtained when the internal friction was minimum. Comparing the both of the optimization result, the most optimizing parameters were found for the issue. In Calculation process of this paper, if it refer to more technological parameters and vibration parameters optimization for the designing, the objective function if can consider more aspect, the optimization results will be more perfect.
