At present, recovering the Rare-earth from NdFeB waste on the basis of the hydrochloric priority dissolution method has gradually matured, but the low degree of automation is limited to manufacturers, it is difficult to ensure the process is safe, high-yield, high efficiency operation. There are serious problem in the purity of product ranges, and Rare-earth is wasted. Accordingly, this paper outlines some basic methods and strategies of Rare-earth impurity leaching process. Based on pH control in the impurity leaching process, to investigate the mechanism of leaching process and control systems, we designed a controller of the pH value in this system.This paper outlines some of the basic strategies to improve Rare-earth leaching rate in leaching process. As these studies, we found that improved concentration of reagents, kept temperature and reduced ore granule was beneficial to improve ore leaching rate; kept the pH value in the range of3.5-5could minimize Rare-earth waste. Based on the impurity leaching process, we present the main mechanical equipment.Analyses and concluded of leaching process technology requirement, set up the mathematical model of the pH process on the basis of impurity of leaching process. Through the analysis of the characteristics of the model find out the system compensation plan; selected the type of the instrumentation and electrical devices; and introduces of the character and maintain way about pH instrumentation, developed a new measurement and control system to achieve control requirements such as pH value—PC monitor—MCU control; data communication comply with RS-232C. We designed and simulated self-tuning PID controller for this process, the results showed that this controller is feasible and its control response is better than others controllers.Used Kingview6.55to establish system monitor, development PC monitoring management system, and to realize the real-time process configuration monitoring, from the production process monitoring, system security management and database management, completed the monitoring system of safety management, the monitoring interface, production parameters of real-time data monitoring, variables add a trend curve plotting, the data report query\storage\sheets transferred\print and lower alarm. Combined with the advantage of Matlab in simulation, we designed monitoring system and Matlab to debug functions. Used STC12C5A60S2MCU to complete control of the pH process system requirements, by power-down protection, serial communication, input\output, limit alarm and Actuator Module completed system functions.
