Along with the improvement of computer makes the application of CFD technology in rare earth extraction industries more widely, but also play an important role. The stirred tank was one of the important equipment in the rare earth extraction process. So the size of the structural design of the stirred tank and its complement the stirring paddle paddle-type selection and design is particularly important. In this paper, the20L of the rare earth extraction reactor in different paddle type, consider the size structure of the stirred tank and the impeller shape, size and locating of installation, using of the standard model k-ε to model, and for use multi-reference frame (MRF) divide the stirred tank into the moving area and the fixed area, and the stirred tank would be the appropriate settings of two-phase. The mainly work are as follows:First, Comparison of three extractions stirred tank at a pressure distribution values. To optimize the stirred tank and negative pressure is more suitable for the requirements of the cascade extraction process.Then, the flat leaf stirrer simulation analysis to identify the optimal insertion depth stirrer under constant conditions, and obtained the optimal insertion depth of the impeller blades torque, power, the mixing time.And then, by comparing the flat leaf stirrer and semi-open turbine impellers in pressure, turbulent kinetic energy distribution of these two parameters in constant conditions (speed, insertion depth, the input power were equal), preferably semi-open turbine impeller compared with suitable for countercurrent extraction process.Finally, In constant conditions, the analysis of semi-open turbine impellers in the trefoil leaf, the four leaves, the six leaves for the three cases, and the extraction of the trough of pressure, velocity, turbulent kinetic energy, turbulence dissipation rate characteristics, the four leaves semi-open various performance parameters of the turbine impeller is relatively good...
