Photocatalytic degradation of pollutants is an important environmental technology. Photocatalytic materials TiO2and ZnO have potential applications because they’re non-toxic, high activity and cheap. The electron transfer interaction between TiO2and ZnO will enhance the photocatalytic efficiency, we prepared the ZnO/TiO2nano-composite material and studied its photocatalytic property.TiO2nanotubes prepared by anodizing were characterized by SEM. We found that the diameter and length were dependent on the voltage and anodizing time, respectively. ZnO@TiO2nano-composite material was prepared via sol-gel method by using TiO2nanotubes as template, and its photocatalytic property upon UV light exposure was characterized by UV-Vis spectroscopy. We found that the photocatalytic properties of ZnO@TiO2nano-composite was dependent on the depth and radius of TiO2nantubes, and the photocatalytic efficiency of the nano-composite was higher than that of ZnO@AAO plus TiO2template, which could be attributed to the enhancement of charge transfer between TiO2and ZnO.It reveals that nano-composite materials have great significance in photocatalytic field.
