| The polycarboxylate polymer is an environment-friendly dispersant, which is the carbon chain length, activated adsorption points, steric stabilization and more types of monomer to choose. So it has been paid close attention. In this paper, three kinds of polymer dispersing agents(PAAã€PAA-MA PAA-MA-SAS)were synthesized via radical polymerization method in the single reducing sodium bisulfate initiator system with AAã€MAã€SAS as the main starting materials. Viscosity method was used as for the viscosity-average molecular weight, and FT-IR was used as for the characterization of the as-obtained samples. Additionally, the dispersion properties of the PAA-MA-SAS was evaluated by dispersion rate and suspension rate. The dispersing agent, which is viscosity-average molecular weight of2000,have best dispersion performance. The influences factor of PAA were studied. I found that the viscosity-average molecular weight increases with the increase in monomer concentration, and with increasing the reaction temperature, with the decrease in sodium bisulfite concentration. By comparison with an initiator system of the peroxide determine the superiority of the present experimental system. Based on these factors, orthogonal experiment was adopted to optimize the polymeric(PAA-MA-SAS).The optimizing results turned out that the best reaction conditions were as the following:the reaction temperature45℃, the quality percentage of sodium bisulfite is0.49%, the quality percentage of maleic anhydride is14.7%The mechanism of the five different initiator system()made a brief presentation, which was describing their advantagesã€disadvantages and the scope. |
