Fenhe River Basin Water Resources Ecological Environment Sustainable Development Research

Water resources is indispensable、irreplaceable and important of economic development、social stability and people living resources, it is the basic natural resources and strategiceconomical resources. Abstract with the continuous economic development, water crisiscaused by water shortage and water pollution has been a key restriction to the sustainabledevelopment of social and economic progress in many regions of China. Shanxi is one of thecentral part of the inland areas in China, one of the provinces also the lack of water resourcesthroughout the country, the country’s largest river——Fenhe River, is the second largesttributaries of the Yellow River. In recent years, coupled with the continuous deepening ofreform and opening up, the ever-changing science and technology, the economy and societyof Fenhe River Basin in Shanxi has obtained more rapid development. But at the same time,the ecological environment of Fenhe River Basin has encountered the serious destructionparticularly, Water resources shortage,soil and water loss and pollution of water resourcesseriously has resulted in the gradual deterioration to the ecological environment of FenheRiver, which not only hindered the sustainable development of the ecological environment butalso constrains the sustainable use of water resources, thus becoming a bottleneck foreconomic development. As a result, realize Fenhe River Basin in Shanxi of the sustainabledevelopment of the ecological environment is whole province’s the only way for the economyand society in sustained, stable and healthy development.In this paper, the Marxist view of nature and ecological civilization and the theory ofsustainable development is a methodological basis of this study, and using the researchmethods of combining theory with practice together with a comprehensive analysis, anddevelop in a logic structure as: Description—Analysis—Summary—Integration. Forsustainable utilization of Fenhe River Basin in Shanxi to provide scientific basis.This paper mainly consists of three parts: The first part is the introduction, including thereason setting this topic, the current researches home and abroad, and the contents andmethods of research. The second part is the major body of the paper, The first chapter entitled“Evolution of the ecological environment in the Fenhe River Basin”, focuses on Fenhe RiverBasin’s geographical location and economic status, and summarizes the existing problems indevelopment and utilization of Fenhe River Basin. The second chapter, by this analysis, thethesis maintains that the unpleasant state of ecological environment of Fenhe River Basin mainly resulted from shallow-rootedness of environmental awareness; ecological protectionsystem defects in legislation. The third chapter, this thesis, in accordance with the sustainabledevelopment theory, puts forth measures for achieving the sustainable development of FenheRiver Basin in Shanxi. The third part is the conclusion, generalize the key conclusions of thepaper, and point out the possible further studying areas.
