The preparation of structure and function nano-materials have been the hot in the studies of materials. Surfactant self-assembly template can regulate the particle size and morphology, prepare nano-materials of superior performance and possessing certain shape, size, orientation and structure. Herein, the dissertation gives emphasist to surfactant self-assembly template regulate morphology of barium carbonate nano-materials as well as regulatory mechanism of template method. Provide ideas and methods for the preparation of functional inorganic materials and deepen the understanding of the principles of biomineralization.In this paper, controlling the morphology of BaCO3under single surfactant, anionic/cationic mixed surfactants, surfactant/macromolecule, and ionic/nonionic surfactants were investigated. The composition, structure and morphology of the product were characterized by XRD、FT-IR、FESEM、HRTEM. And formation mechanisms were discussed.The obtained results were as follows:1、Novel morphology of barium carbonate crystals in the water-soluble anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS) alone, The effects of surfactant concentration, reaction temperature, reaction time on morphology were investigated The SDBS selectively adsorbed on specific crystal faces to form a special morphology.2、Mixed surfactants (SDBS/CTAB), due to the Coulomb force between the anion and cation mixed surfactant hydrophilic group, the mixed surfactant is different from a single anionic or cationic surface active agent role By adjusting the proportion of the cation-anion surfactant, synthesis of different particle size and morphology of barium carbonate crystals. And investigated the effect of reaction temperature. The results showed that:the mixed surfactants on the morphology and size changes are mainly caused due to the interaction of the two surfactants. Mixed surfactants have the incomparable advantages of a separate surfactant the preparation of nano-materials.3. Surfactants and macromolecular mixed solution system, usually can form the new structure, as the nano-particles prepared template. Mixture of anionic surfactant (SDBS) and organic macromolecules (PVP) solution system as barium carbonate crystals prepared template. SDBS bound micelles and the PVP chain can form necklace-like soft clusters to regulation barium carbonate morphology. Investigated SDBS concentration, experimental temperature, aging time on the morphology of barium carbonate.4、Different types of surfactants compound to regulate nano-materials structure and the formation of liquid crystal template. In three different regions of SDS/Brij30/H2O system: worm-like micelles, micelles, and lamellar liquid crystal, using the homogeneous precipitation method, carbon dioxide gas diffusion method, barium carbonate nano-materials of different morphologies were prepared. The morphology of the ion/non-ionic surfactant system, the formation of the liquid crystal template as a micro-reactor can effectively regulate nano-materials. Preparation material of different particle size and morphology.
