With the development of the national economy, expressway of our country is developingquickly. The embankment of high grade expressway is generally high, the contradiction betweensoil for embankment and soil for agriculture become more and more strident. There are a lot offine particles of red sandstone soil on the surface of mountain in southern Jiangxi. Making use offine-granular red sand soil which digged from the surface of mountain in the process of cuttingconstruction to fill the embankment will has a wide application prospects.Using geogrid to reinforce the slope of embankment is a kind of technique which isdeveloping fast in recent years.Geogrid used in engineering is limited on account of interactionmechanism of geogrid and soil are insufficient understanding currently.Stability of embankments has been a major concern in the construction of embankments.The impact factor is the physical mechanics nature as embankment filling material, the ratio ofslope, the height of slope, external environment and so on.On the above issue, the main subject of this thesis is as follows:(1)Fine-granular red sand soil embankment has conducted the design research using theprinciple stability of slope analysis software in a section of highway engineeringK24+380~K24+460in Jiangxi Longna kernel~Yangcun (Jiangxi Guangdong).It has analyzedthe independent employment fine-grain red sandstone reclamation embankment’s feasibility aswell as embankment use earthwork grill layer1,2,3reinforces processing the effect.Thedouble-decked earthwork grill reinforcement embankment for the most economical designproposal has selected. The cross section chart has design in this section of embankments.(2)Fine-granular red sand soil embankment construction technology is determined by fieldtest section of test.The construction parameters of the coefficient of loose paving, rollingthickness combination, construction technology, machines and tools combination and number ofroller passes under the different programmes is mainly determined.(3)The influence factors of fine-granular red sand soil embankment stability and theanalysis method of embankment stability are summarized.The physical mechanics nature, theratio of slope and the height of slope influenced on stability of embankment slope rules isdiscussed using FLAC3D software.
