With the rapid development of China’s railway business, the importance of performance and stability of electric locomotives are more obvious. Previous electric locomotive control circuits and lighting circuits commonly used hard switching converter. The output power and the frequency of the switches of this kind of converter are low, efficiency of energy conversion can not be high, error acceptance of system is bad. The soft high-frequency switching converter was used to replaced the hard switching converter. Through adding auxiliary electrical circuits, the soft high-frequency switching converter has advantages in comparison to the hard switching converter, the performance of the system was improved. The frequency of the switches and the efficiency of the system was also improved.A novel Multi-module running in parallel operation (FB)-zero voltage zero current switching (ZVS) soft-switch converter was proposed in this paper. Compare to the form soft high-frequency switching converter, the static and dynamic performances was improved through using the new proposed circuit, also about the currentand or voltage stresses of the switches. The stability of the system was better through multi-module running in parallel operation. Decoupling control was used to control the system. Small signal analysis theory was to analysis the static and dynamic performances. The efficiency, accuracy, volume, stability, anti-interference of the system meets the requirements. The feasibility of the theory of the paper was proved through a making experimental prototype.
