It has been widely used in the high-risebuildings because of the features of CFG pile composite foundation such as small settlement, high beating capacity, fast stability, short time for construction, variable pile strength, and significant reinforcement effect etc while better social and economicbenefits was obtained. However, theoretical study of CFG pile composite foundation, moreover, precise settlement calculation methods are still not available. Working mechanism and design idea of the CFG pile composite foundation is still far behind lag and it is needed to study much further. According to above problem, this paper study and analyze the deformation and consolidation mechanism, computational methods of settlement about CFG pile-raft composite foundation in the deep soft soil area. Main contents are as follows:(1) Introduced the background of the article, summarized the development and research present situation of CFG pile composit foundation, and introduced the working mechanism about it.(2) Firstly refers to the on-site measurement data of CFG pile composite foundation on high-speed railway, result of in-site test, discuss the the settlement of CFG composite foundation under embankment load are analyzed according to the testresults.(3) Described that the comprehensive monitoring method of testing methods and the application of the precision, applicable conditions through the construction of high-speed railway subgrade, summed up which method can application in different environment and some methods and measures how to improve the accuracy of the test.(4) The status and development of settlement calculation methods of CFG pile composite foundation is analysed. What’s more, the main questions of CFG-pile composite foundationare pointed. Combined with practical examples, prove the applicability of three calculation methods. Respectively, discuss the sensitivity of parameter-compression modulus in reinforced area and substratum which calculate with "Construction foundation standard" From wild section and standard section of roaldbed.(5) Based on the memod of composite module, a model was established in ADINA and successfully used to analyze tile behavior of composite foundation, such as the settlement in reinforced regions and substratum under the situation of hierarchical loading.
