Circuit board production test affects the quality and efficiency of the electronic system production directly. Before the total installed capacity of circuit board after the welding, the features and performance testing are important to ensure an electronic system’ s functionality and quality standards. Traditional manual testing, which is through operating more than one special instrument and manually record the test data and results, has a lot of shortages, such as Complex operation, poor reliability. The method of using the Universal Automatic Test System can test only some of the common features, unable to meet the more complex testing requirements. This paper, according to the research of difficult problems in the wind power converter board test of actual project, provides a series methods of channel test and parameters correction and develops a wind power converter board automatic test system based on the methods.The digital channel short-circuit and open-circuit testing method are studied in this paper. The shortcomings of commonly used methods are low test efficiency and accuracy. In order to increase test accuracy of the S.C.Fang method, the idea of classification is introduced to this method. The fault channel are classified as a class which may have short-circuit fault between each other, and tested for fault location. The test efficiency and accuracy of the digital channel short-circuit and open circuit test are increased by the improved the S.C.Fang method.The analog channel parameters measurement and parameters calibration have been researched in this paper. The all-phase FFT spectrum analysis is used in analog signal parameter analysis. And the anti-interference ability and measurement precision are improved compared to traditional measurement methods. The methods of amplitude and phase correction of the analog channel are also researched in this paper. BP neural network is introduced to the calibration of the analog channel phase, with high calibration accuracy.Based on the above research work, an automatic test system of wind power converters board has been developed using virtual instrument technology in this paper. The automatic test system can provide a variety of optional test function for the circuit board test, and has good scalability because of hierarchical and modular software architecture.This automatic test system successfully applied in automated testing of wind power converter board, meeting the requirements of production testing, resulting in a good production efficiency.
