The rate of liquid is an important control parameter in the process of uranium hydrometallurgy. It makes a direct impact on the purification process of lixivium, thus the quality of uranium and the efficiency of production are affected. Taking the adsorption process of uranium hydrometallurgy as the background, this paper selected S7-300as the control core, using the method of intelligent PID control and the monitoring software, to design the control system of uranium hydrometallurgy feed-in liquid rate.The PID controller was designed based on the chaotic particle swarm optimization. The model was simulated in MATLAB to analyse the response of system. To provide a good diversity of search space for algorithm, the author adopted logistic map to encode the particles to enhance the randomicity and ergodicity of the initial population. The average optimal solution was introduced during the optimization process, so that the more comprehensive population experience was provided for optimizing the parameters effectively. In addition, the author used the method combining with MTLAB and monitoring software to implement the control parameters online tuning. The data were exchanged through the OPC technology, implementing the intelligent PID control for the automatic control system of uranium hydrometallurgy.According to the field conditions and process flow, the hardware and the software for the control system of liquid rate were designed, implementing the remote monitoring for the process in uranium hydrometallurgy. The hardware part included the drawing for wiring diagrams of the valves, the selection for the modules and the configuration for the hardware modules, and so on. The software part was designed by STEP7software and ForceControl configuration software, including the PLC control programs and the monitoring interfaces, and so on.Through the intelligent PID control, the system is achieved the real-time control of uranium hydrometallurgy feed-in liquid rate. The working frequency of the regulating valves is reduced, which reduces the cost of production and improves the efficiency of production. Furthermore, the application of the uranium hydrometallurgy automatic control system and the real-time monitoring system not only saves the manpower, but also brings more conveniences in the process of operation control and data logging.
