With the rapid development of national economy,devices being used in distribution network,These loads,which have the electric characteristics of asymmetry or impact,bring so much problems as low power factor,voltage fluctuation and flicker,three phase voltage and current unbalanced,and etc.It has a serious impact on the power quality of the system and further threatens the safe operation of the power grid.In all kinds of electrical equipment that can solve these electrical energy quality problems well,the cost performance of the Static Var Compensator(SVC)is relatively high.Its remarkable feature is to be able to quickly and smoothly adjust the capacitive or inductive reactive power to solve problem.The compensation capability of SVC depends on the control strategy it takes.Therefore,it is very important to design a static reactive power compensator with fast response and good stability.This article is aimed at the above problems,a switched SVC control method based on CPSO parameter optimization is proposed in this paper.First,the development of static var compensator is introduced,and the structure and principle of all kinds of VAR compensators are expounded,and the open loop control principle of static var compensator is analyzed.Then,the open loop controlled variable feedback control does not exist problems,puts forward PI control algorithm based on phase voltage;secondly,due to the nonlinear characteristic of reactive compensator in traditional PI control method can not effectively meet the needs of the speed control system and the realization way of response characteristics of non linear PI controller is analyzed;then,considering the drawbacks of online optimization of the parameters of the controller is not easy to the practical application of intelligent optimization algorithm,the chaos theory into particle swarm algorithm,proposed an improved chaotic particle swarm optimization(CPSO)algorithm for off-line tuning of nonlinear PI controller parameters;further,in the parameter optimization control method switching control theory into consideration,the design of the load balanced and unbalanced state mutation,control method of controller switching.Finally,on the basis of the above theoretical analysis,a switched SVC system simulation model based on CPSO parameter optimization is established.In the simulation,the results of reactive power compensation based on GA,PSO,GA-PSO and CPSO algorithm are compared.The results show that the control method proposed in this paper has fast response speed,and it can achieve fast and dynamic compensation for voltage fluctuation and reactive power of three phase load,and achieves the desired effect.
