With the development of motor manufacturing technology, power electronic technology, microcomputer technology, the sensor technology, modern control technology, the ac servo control technology has been tremendous progress. Because the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) has the advantage of simple structure, small volume, high efficiency and power factor, low rotation inertia, it got extensive attention in the theoretical research and practical application.In the research and design of PMSM control system, most of all is installed the rotor position sensor to solve the problem of motor rotor position detection. But installing position sensor in some control turntable will be suffered from the restrictions of mechanical structure and environment. In order to solve this problem, this paper estimates the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor rotor position and speed by Extend Kalman Filter (EKF), so as to use software algorithm to realize the function of the mechanical position sensor.This paper researches the position sensorless vector control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor based on EKF. Fist of all, this paper analyses the mathematical model of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor in the different coordinates, selected the rotor field-oriented control strategy based on id=0, established execute solution of double closed loop vector control system. Secondly, this paper expounds the principle of EKF and recursion algorithm. It derives the Kalman state equation in PMSM rest coordinate, and made a discretization processing. At last, it constructs vector control system based on EKF estimator. In order to validate the feasibility of the control system, this paper builds the simulation model of vector control system of PMSM with MATLAB/Simulink, and has a lot of simulation of experiments, the simulation results show that the vector control can get good control performance. On this basis, it observes the position and speed of the motor rotor by the use of the EKF estimator, and builds a simulation model based on the EKF position sensorless permanent magnet synchronous motor vector control system. Simulation results demonstrate the EKF estimator can accurate estimates of the PMSM rotor position and speed, the system has good dynamic response.Finally, based on the full theory research and simulation system, the paper builds experimental platform with high speed digital signal processor TMS320F2812DSP, designed the control system structure of software and hardware, realization method. Hardware includes control circuit and a part of the outer auxiliary circuit design, software uses C language to complete the preparation of the control program. At the same time, the paper programmed the monitoring software of PMSM servo control system based on PC with Visual C++language.
