Gatling gun Angular displacement measurement is important for the analysis of work situation in the development process of Gatling gun. A portable angular displacement measurement system is designed based on embedded technologym, which is the integration of data acquiring, data displaying, data processing and data management.This system consists of sensor and instrument. Sensor selection of absolute rotary encoder, it will converted angular displacement to the digital signal. Instruments use the ARM processor as the core, equipped with SDRAM and Flash, their high performance guarantee the system’s processing speed, Supplemented with touch screen and LCD screen as input/output devices, constitute a complete set of human-computer interaction system. Software use Linux as the operating system, then cut to fit the embedded device. Programming the sensor driver to support the function of data acquisition based on the operating system. Application which built on the Linux system, the driver and QT libraries provide the better graphical interface to users, and realize the Butterworth digital filter algorithms which support to filter the data collected.Based on system debugging and experiments, it is proved that the system has basically achieved the requiremens put forward. Finally, the system is successfully applied to Gatling guns angular displacement measurements.
