With the social progressing and economic developing, the construction of China’s urbanization gradually accelerated, large number of high-rise buildings appeared in people’s field of vision. Elevator has become an indispensable means of transport in the social life. The guide rail acts as the main components of the elevator, and determines the security and stability of the elevator in the run. Elevator guide rail straightness, which is an important parameter affecting the quality of the elevator, has important practical significance to the detection of straightness. Manual inspection is the conventional detection method. Because of simple tools and high human involvement, manual inspection is so inefficient that we can not acquire a correct and stable detected rail straightness data from this method. The same time, manual inspection can not acquire specific data of the rail, so it brings a lot of trouble for artificial straightening. Based on these characteristics, we designed the automatically measure and data query system of elevator guide rail.At first, this article introduces the background and significance of the research, elaborates the importance of developing the automatically measure and query system of elevator guide rail. This article introduces several commonly used detection technologies and developments in the world, and also compared the advantages and disadvantages of these technologies. Then the article introduces the principle of the system that will be used to, and gives a brief introduction to the overall design of this system. These contents do theoretical foreshadowing.Second, the article focuses on the hardware and software implementation of the system, describes in detail the hardware and software designing processes. In this paper, the software and hardware are sub-module introduced. This article describes the concrete realization of each module. The hardware includes hardware selection, interface design and parameter design, at the same time, the software includes design ideas, the composition of the framework, specific functional implementation and so on. So that readers have a concrete understanding of the system.Finally, the article describes the problems in the process of site commissioning, and how to resolve these problems eventually. The article gives the overall use of the system process. The equipment has been put into use and maintains in a good condition now.
