Nowadays, human beings are facing double pressures which are energy security and environmental pollution. Because of clean, environmental protection and renewable, make full use of renewable energy has become one of the methods to ensure the sustainable development of the world’s energy and economy. As an important part of renewable energy sources, development and utilization of biomass energy has vital significance to alleviate our country’s energy, environmental and ecological problems.Based on the solid fuel and gas biomass fuel technology, the advantages of solid fuel and gas fuel technology were studied series in this paper to realize the use of biomass economically and efficiently. The main content of this study are as follows:(1) Researched the solid fuel molding technology, compared the advantages and disadvantages of the roller type, spiral and piston type machines, determined the experimental equipment and experiment process combined with the laboratory and the existing condition;(2) Analyzed the mechanism of the pellet formation, optimized the molding process parameters through experiment;(3) Studied the technology of gasification, designed a set of small biomass gasification system;(4) Analyzed and summarized the particles performance, compared the burning performance of gas through the experiment.
