As the important assault weapon in the land war, the tanks are suitable for attacking and shielding. By the anti-tank armor capability and means advances, the tanks combat capability is also rapidly developing and improved with the high-tech assistance. So far, its power is played to limit, so researchers focus on advancing the firing and accuracy. The gun control system is the aimed and shooting device, and it can realize semi-automate or automate to shorten time and increasing hitting rate. The gun control system can stabilize and manipulate the system, and is the important part in the fire control system. Based on the gun control of a certain tank, this paper study model identification and control strategies.Firstly, the semi-physical simulation platform is built using the devices in the laboratory, it is used for simulating the actual gun control system. Then according to the operation model of the gun control, this paper designs the control module and selects the motor parameters in the accordance with the static and dynamic performance of the gun control system.Then, studying modeling of the AC servo system, and collecting voltage and speed as the original data.This paper designs two models, based on RBF and GA-RBF, and compares the results of two models.Finally, BP-PID controller and Fuzzy-PID controller is designed for the gun control system.Simulition results show that Fuzzy-PID controller has the better controlling results and its performance meets the relevant requirement.
