Bullets Aided Design Based On Solidworks Software Research And Development

This paper has developed a Bullet-aided design software,which is based on SolidWorks,for a factory.Firstly, the SolidWorks API and the traditional method of secondary development of SolidWorks are deeply analyzed and researched in this paper. A parametric modeling method is proposed, which is applied to establishing a bullet part model. In addition, based on this method, this paper develops a rule for dividing the bullet parts structure, designs the interface for the input of structure measurement date in VB and the data relation table in SQL Server. Furthermore, this paper solves the problem that the arcuate portions of bullet is difficult to draw and the fitting-spline cannot be drawn when the bullet parts model is established in SolidWorks. On this basis, the following functional modules are developed:automatically establishing the bullet parts model, automatically assembling the bullet parts, automatically obtaining characteristic quantity of the bullet structure.Secondly, on the basis of the bullet model and characteristic quantity, this paper also develops the following ballistics performance calculation modules:the interior and exterior ballistics calculations, the terminal ballistics calculations, the emission strength checking, the flight stability checking, the interior and exterior coefficient meeting, the terminal ballistics coefficient meeting and so on. Meanwhile, the data relation tables are created and the correlation between the data tables are established for every module.Finally, this paper develops many auxiliary functions in the bullet-aided design software. For example, automatically generating the data report, the file path encryption, login permissions setting. After all functions are developed, the DLL plug-in is generated in the SolidWorks. Take7.62mm submachine gun bullet for example, the practicality and accuracy of the bullet-aided design software are validated.
