This paper explored a new type of a caliber miniature correction projectiles on the basis of.analyzing the current correction projectiles at home and abroad. First, the overall program of micro correction projectile are elaborated, including the overall design requirements, the amendment proposed correction projectiles ballistic principle. Second, according to the application platform of the caliber ammunition, it designed and analyzed overall External Structure of the mini-correction projectile, and studied its shelling structure and principle.Then, based on essential requirements of the miniature correction projectile to the director, it analyzed various types of revision implementing agencies, selected the electromagnetic relays electromagnetic actuator, discussed the principle of electromagnetic actuator, and detailed design of the structure of electromagnetism actuator. Finally, the mini-correction projectile was simulated in terms of aerodynamic by using hydrodynamics software, it calculated and simulated the aerodynamic force of a projectile in different attack angle and two mach number, and gained the small-caliber guided projectile’s movement trend of lift coefficient, drag coefficient and the pitching moment coefficient with variety of flight Mach number and attack angle. The results indicate the computational aerodynamic coefficient results conform the exterior ballistics rules of correction projectile, and simulated projectile flight status on transonic well, Flight stability of micro-correction projectile and tail deflection angle correction capability was analyzed.Through analysis and research, it verified the feasibility of the mini correction projectile overall program, and provided the theoretical foundation and reference for the next step of the detailed design of the projectile-kind prototype.
