Pig Logistics And The Demand Forecasting Research In China

Pork and its products are the most important source of meat for the people’s livelihoodand important strategic commodities for the nation. Doing a good job in the logisticsorganization of pig products is of great significance for improving the pig industry andensuring the safety of the nation’s food supply. The effective prediction of the LogisticsDemand in pig industry is helpful for the government to draw up plans, which can makethe development requirement consistent with the actual needs of the logistics demand. Sothat it can help guide social funds to support logistics service and contribute to theimprovement of the investment activities and logistics supply system.Firstly，Based on considerable on-the-spot investigation, the author summarizes the“pig dealers dominating model”, and show that there is severe losses during the piglogistics process. Secondly, establishing the non-linear combination forecast model on themodel of second exponential smoothing forecasting methods，Gray GM(1,1)predictionmethod and BP neural network prediction method, the author forecasts the scale of our pigproduct logistics demand and get a good result, which shows that the scale of our pigproduct logistics will improve during its fluctuating. At the last, depending on the results,the author gives advice on the pig logistics and the organizational model of pig logistics,which is suitable for present requirements.
