Objective This study was designed to evaluate the Quality of Life (QOL) and the factors affecting QOL in hemodialysis(HD) patients who was ill for more than two years in Taiyuan, and to provide useful information for dialysis patients to prolonging their life and provide the basis for clinical working.Methods We use a multicenter questionnaire survey and recruited125patients who was ill for more than two years from dialysis units in8hospitals in Taiyuan. We invested the patient’s general condition and clinical data. In the same time, we also use the Short Form-36(SF-36) to measure the quality of life scale.Results Results①The overall SF-36scores were (107.55±14.50) in patients who was ill for more than two years.②Age(P<0.05,F=4.972)and gender(P<0.01,t=3.993)affects the overall score of QOL.③Culture degree in mental health is influential(P<0.05,Z=-0.838). It is influenced in the patient’s energy on the side of residual urine(P<0.05,Z=-2.465). Diabetic nephropathy affects physiological function in the quality of life.(P<0.05,Z=-2.062). Blood pressure which is controlled perfetely gain good mark in the side of patient’s physiological function.(P<0.05, F=2.933)④The sources of costs, marital status, different dialysis way and frequencyand different protopathy have no effect on the patient’s quality of life.Conclusion Survival quality of patients who was ill for more than two years in Taiyuan is higher than in other cities, but factors influence the survival quality are relatively few. It is very important to actively cooperate with the treatment of dialysis in the first2-year for promote their QOL and life satisfaction.
